CNN cannot find Hawaii

CNN cannot find Hawaii

Bad week for CNN. First we find a typo in their health care article, now this Hawaii incident…..or should I say misplacement? Ok, so it’s not a typo but more like a visual typo? Apparently both CNN reporters clearly do not know the location of Hawaii. You can view the short clip here:

We’re noticing that most books have at least one typo among tens of thousands of words.  The article above has only 83 words!  And why didn’t the spellchecker work?

First to find the typo gets kudos on Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks, jon.langen, for sending us this photo during your recent travels.  I’d like to believe that the incorrect use of the apostrophe is actually a dollop of mud or something, but there’s just too much space between the E and the S for that to be the case.  It’s unfortunate that nobody proofread the cardboard cutout before the guy with the spray can climbed all the way up to this I-beam.
