
Andy Rooney Finds Typos!
Tonight after the football game on CBS’s 60 Minutes, Andy Rooney left us with some final thoughts about typos in books. He talked about how hard it would be to recall all the textbooks with typos from the schools in Virginia and said “maybe they should let the students use the books the way they are and the kids who found the most mistakes would get the highest marks.” Great idea!
I agree with Andy that finding typos can be fun. He said “we all like to catch someone else’s mistake and editors have all the fun because that’s what they do for a living.”
I found this posting in my local paper. Right away something didn’t seem right. The errors found here are wrong on so many levels!
