Mega….what?

Posted by Brandon on January 9, 2011 3 Comments

I found this posting in my local paper. Right away something didn’t seem right. The errors found here are wrong on so many levels!

  1. “Mega Melliion” – Perhaps the author of this sign was trying to be cute calling it “mellion”.  I can give him that. But it is either spelled with three “L’s” or two “L’s” and two “i’s”, hard to tell.
  2. Jacpot – Should be “Jackpot”.
  3. Millon – Again, “million” is misspelled, this time missing the letter “i”.

JCPenney

Thanks to Typoze.com member Deletia for taking this picture. An uninformed individual misspelled the retail store “JCPenney“. Not only did they not capitalize the “C” but they also left out an “e”.

What makes this sign worse, is that there are 6 of them all around the mall!

Thanks Deletia!

Two typos one sign
