
DOW plunge! Glitch? Typo?
Today was a historic day for the DOW and anyone with a stock portfolio. The 1000 point swing was initially blamed on Greece’s debt problems, and it still may to some degree. But now that the dust has settled, apparently there was a trade error via “fat fingers.”
Rumours swirled around the market that a trader had reportedly entered a “b” for billion instead of an “m” for million in a trade involving Procter and Gamble, CNBC reported, citing several sources.
